Basel‑Mulhouse EuroAirport: Swiss or French exit, where to meet your chauffeur

The EuroAirport is a binational airport on French soil. Leaving the baggage hall, one corridor leads to Switzerland, the other to France. The choice matters: taxis, prices and roads are not the same.

Basel‑Mulhouse EuroAirport: Swiss or French exit, where to meet your chauffeur

Swiss exit

For Basel, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne and all the Swiss Alps. Our chauffeur waits by default at the exit of the Swiss sector with a name board. Swiss customs on leaving the building, usually without a stop.

French exit

For Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg and Alsace: ask for the French exit when booking and the chauffeur will be there. From France, the A35 runs north without re‑entering Switzerland.

Black Forest

For Freiburg im Breisgau and the Titisee, we leave on the Swiss side then cross into Germany at Weil am Rhein: faster than via France. ID within reach, three borders in twenty minutes.

If you take the wrong exit

No problem: call the chauffeur, he moves to the other side in ten minutes. Do not take a local taxi on the spot.
