Terms and conditions
1. Scope
These terms govern every booking of a private transfer or chauffeur service made with TAXI GENEVE - GENEVA AIRPORT - JALLOULI ("Swiss Taxi") via swisstaxi.ch, by phone or by e‑mail.
2. Booking and confirmation
A booking is firm once Swiss Taxi has sent a written confirmation (e‑mail or SMS) with a reference number. The chauffeur's name and phone number are sent before pick‑up.
3. Prices
- Prices are fixed per vehicle, in Swiss francs, VAT 8.1 % included, tolls, fuel and airport parking included.
- Airport pick‑ups include 60 minutes of waiting after landing (flight tracked); other pick‑ups include 15 minutes. Extra waiting: CHF 60 per started half hour.
- Journeys over 450 km and special requests are quoted individually.
- Our vehicles are based in Geneva, Lausanne, Basel and Zurich. When no vehicle is available near the pick‑up point, Swiss Taxi may have to bring one from another city; the approach journey is then added, and the adjusted price is submitted to the client by e‑mail before the booking becomes firm. The client is free to decline at no cost.
- Extras chosen at booking (intermediate stop, child seats, meet & greet) are shown before payment.
4. Payment
In advance by secure payment link, with card or Twint, or by invoice for corporate accounts, also paid before the service. Chauffeurs do not take payment. Online payments are processed by Stripe.
5. Cancellation and changes
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick‑up.
- Between 24 h and 4 h before pick‑up: 50 % of the price.
- Less than 4 h before pick‑up or no‑show: 100 % of the price.
- Changes of time or address are free when possible; a longer route is charged at the rate card.
- Flight delays never count as a late cancellation.
Winter Season Cancellation Policy – Mercedes Sprinter Transfers
Due to high demand and limited vehicle availability during the winter season, specific cancellation conditions apply to Mercedes Sprinter transfers:
- More than 72 hours before pick-up: free cancellation with a full refund.
- Between 72 and 48 hours before pick-up: 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 48 hours before pick-up: 100% cancellation fee.
These conditions apply to Mercedes Sprinter bookings during the winter season (1 December to 30 April) and take precedence over our standard cancellation policy. For round-trip bookings, cancellation fees are calculated separately for each scheduled transfer.
6. Passengers and luggage
The number of passengers and bags may not exceed the vehicle's capacity shown at booking. Child seats are provided free of charge when requested at booking. Skis and bulky luggage must be announced.
7. Liability
Swiss Taxi carries passengers under Swiss road transport rules and its liability insurance. Swiss Taxi is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, weather, road closures or customs controls, but will do its best to inform you and find a solution. Missed flights due to a late pick‑up requested by the client are the client's responsibility.
