Where do we drop you?
Return: when should you leave?
We allow 5 h 35 on the road, 15 min margin and 2 h for check‑in.
Val d'Isère, the village at the end of the road
Val d'Isère is a stone‑and‑timber village with a real main street along the Isère, extended by La Daille below and Le Fornet above. The five‑star hotels are in the centre; chalets are spread between Le Crêt, Le Joseray and Le Fornet. Your chauffeur knows the access roads and car parks of each quarter.
The last half hour runs under the avalanche galleries of the Daille gorge: after heavy snowfall the road can close for a few hours. We follow the road service updates and let you know; the price does not change.

Another question? Write to booking@swisstaxi.ch, reply within 2 hours.
Do I need a passport to cross into France?
A valid ID card is enough for Swiss and EU nationals; other passports should be to hand. Our vehicles are registered for cross‑border trips and there is usually no stop at customs.
Where do I meet the chauffeur at Zurich Airport?
At the meeting point of Arrivals 1 or 2, depending on your terminal, with a name board. The chauffeur tracks your flight and messages you as soon as you land.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight number live. Your chauffeur adjusts to the actual landing time and waits at the Arrivals 1 or 2 meeting point; 60 minutes of waiting are included beyond that. No fees, nothing to do.
Are skis and bulky luggage accepted?
Yes. The E‑Class takes 3 suitcases and a ski bag; the V‑Class up to 7 suitcases with a ski rack; the Sprinter has a trailer on request. Tell us your equipment when booking, there is no surcharge.
Is the road safe when it snows?
Our vehicles run winter tyres and carry chains, and our chauffeurs know these roads in winter. If a road is closed we drop you at the nearest access point and adjust the price.
Are there busy periods for getting to Val d'Isère?
Yes: Critérium de la Première Neige in December. On those days we leave earlier and the chauffeur follows live traffic; the price does not change.
